GOOFIRM joined stakeholders, government officials, local authorities, and child protection actors in Limbe III for the official launch of the 36th Edition of the Day of the African Child under the theme:

“Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa.”

 

The launch ceremony featured presentations on the social situation of children in Fako, the theme of this year’s commemoration, and the regional program of activities aimed at promoting the rights and well-being of children.

 

Access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and proper hygiene is not a privilege. It is a fundamental right for every child. As we commemorate the Day of the African Child, let us renew our commitment to creating healthier, safer, and more inclusive communities where every child can thrive.
