HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE AFRICAN CHILD 2026

Today, Goofirm joins the Ministry of Social Affairs and other stakeholders in commemorating the International Day of the African Child under the theme:

“Ensuring Universal Access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for Every Child in Africa.”

 

We gathered for the grand fanfare and parade from Presbook half mile to Limbe 1 Council Hall, while celebrating the resilience, dreams, and rights of every African child.

 

This year’s theme reminds us that access to clean water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene is not a privilege but a fundamental right for every child. Healthy children are empowered children, and empowered children are the foundation of a prosperous Cameroon.

 

Through today’s activities, we reaffirm our commitment to advocating for the welfare, protection, education, and well-being of children across our communities.
