Walking for Peace, Rights, and Empowerment

In commemoration of the 41st edition of the International Women’s Day, GOOFIRM proudly joined other institutions, organizations, and community members in a Peace Walk held under the patronage of the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family (MINPROFF).

 

The walk began at the Women’s Empowerment and the Family Center (EWFC) and passed through Half Mile, Church Street, and Old Market, before concluding at the SDO’s Office in Limbe.

 

This symbolic march brought together women, youth, civil society organizations, and community leaders to advocate for peace, equality, and the protection of the rights of women and girls.

 

At GOOFIRM, participating in initiatives like this reflects our continued commitment to empowering communities, promoting gender equality, and supporting actions that advance the rights and wellbeing of women and girls.

 

Together, our voices and steps move us closer to a society where every woman and girl can thrive in dignity, safety, and opportunity.
